The main cause of bearing rust corrosion-Feiyu Bearing

There are many reasons for bearing rust and corrosion, and the main reasons are the following six points:

       1. During the production of bearings, some enterprises did not strictly follow the requirements of cleaning and anti-rust regulations and the requirements of oil seal and anti-rust packaging for the anti-rust treatment of the bearing parts in the process and the assembled bearing products. If the turnaround time of the ferrule is too long during the turnaround, the outer circle of the outer ring is in contact with corrosive liquid or gas.

       2. The quality of rust-preventing lubricants, kerosene cleaning products and other products used by some enterprises in production does not meet the requirements of process technology regulations.

       3. As the price of bearing steel drops again and again, the material of bearing steel gradually declines. For example, the content of non-metallic impurities in steel is relatively high (the increase of sulfur content in steel makes the material's own anti-corrosion performance decrease), and the metallurgical structure deviation. The bearing steel sources used by the production enterprises are more complicated, and the quality of the steel is even more mixed.

       4. The environmental conditions of some enterprises are poor, the content of harmful substances in the air is high, the turnover area is too small, and it is difficult to carry out effective anti-rust treatment. Coupled with the hot weather, production workers violated the rust prevention regulations and other phenomena.

       5. The bearing packaging materials such as anti-rust paper, nylon paper (bags) and plastic tubes of some enterprises do not meet the requirements of anti-rust packaging of rolling bearing oil seals, which is also one of the factors causing rust.

       6. The turning allowance and grinding allowance of bearing rings of some enterprises are too small. One of the reasons is that the scale and decarburization layer on the outer circle cannot be completely removed.
